What is Biogen - Your Food Waste Solution?

The ‘Biogen - Your food waste solution’ is application created as if Veeba made one such platform under CSR activity what it should look like. They created this as a responsibility and have a separate fund for the activity. It is an opportunity not for only food waste reduction but also to connect nearby biogas plants to food waste owners (restaurants).

The goal is to create a Veeba branded device, publication or service that addresses the issue of food wastage. Initial Goal : The goal is to design a seamless connection between biogas plant owners and bulk food waste owners (mainly restaurants) by creating a common platform for all.

Insights :

 

  • The stakeholder map consists of all the people included in the activity from core to crust and following image shows the inter-connectivity between them.

  • The main stadholder are Veeba (The brand), Biogas plants, Food waste source, Admin, Employees and Technology.

  • Starting from Admin banks are connected to accounts department of employees section, Data analyst to tech team to update all the information, Data collection to UX/UI, Donations to Indirect Investors.

  • Similarly, Tech team to promotional team for the update of the information and technology to tech department.

  • The red lines depict the connectivity among them even after being a part of another stakeholder.

Understanding the user:

 

  • The extensive study with the comprehension of user’s path helps in the understanding of how individuals behaved in relation to food waste and community.

 

Interview Questions:

  • What’s their name, age, position, location, financial status?

  • How much biogas they produce in a day?

  • How much quantity is required for creating minimum amount of biogas they produce?

  • What are the materials they use in their biogas plant?

  • The quantity of waste they are using now, is that enough or do they need more?

  • What sources they use to get the raw material? 

  • Are they willing to use the service like this?

  • What are the problems you face know?(Biogas)

  • What are features you think it must have?

  • Do they know anyone who want to do something like this or will be interested to be with us?

  • What are the problems they face?
